About Us
Meducate provides on-demand education for doctors, clinicians, health professionals, and the public.

We achieve this by combining the expertise of our educators and the latest technology to produce bespoke training packages that exceed expectations.

We believe...
The current options for medical education services are severely limited by a lack of easily accessible and appropriate training.

Meducate was born out of the desire to bridge the gap and provide revolutionary virtual, on-demand courses that eliminate the need to travel long distances and attend time-consuming weekend seminars.

the Business
Meducate began with Tony Laughton and Dr Ferghal Armstrong, a GP partner and trainer at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, based on the premise that traditional methods of medical education delivery do not take advantage of the incredible technological innovations available today.

As a broadcast professional with more than 35 years of experience in video production, Tony provides the technical expertise to deliver high-quality training videos in areas such as pharmacotherapy, addiction treatments, CE accreditation for GPs, and many more.
Online education...
Online education is the future. With all the advanced technology available to us, it just makes sense to offer the health industry world-class training options at the click of a button. Time-starved medical professionals deserve an option that works with their schedule while keeping them informed on the most important developments in the industry.

Because our students have an easily-accessible option for training, they absorb the information better and typically participate in more courses... which helps them achieve more success in their careers.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed education forever.

The COVID-19 has resulted in schools shut all across the world. Globally, over 1.2 billion children are out of the classroom.

As a result, education has changed dramatically, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.

Research suggests that online learning has been shown to increase retention of information, and take less time, meaning the changes coronavirus have caused might be here to stay.

Online Teaching Is No More an Option, It Is a Necessity
What Our Students Are Saying..
I've just completed your Opioid Stewardship series of modules on Meducate and want to congratulate you on this initiative. I think you capture essential clinical matters for GP's very well and highlight resources available. I think the Workbook with its inclusive answers and references is excellent.

Dr Andrew Horwood
Though some sessions seem to be specifically targeted at GPs, I have found the sessions currently created by Meducate to be highly relevant and easy to complete. They have been valuable and added to my knowledge base in my industry (Mental Health). The additional resources are easy to follow and I will be able to add them to my CPD once I finish the workbooks.

Samantha Scott
I would like to commend you for this excellent website and the valuable educational resources upon it. I do a bit of AOD medicine and I find the contents of this website topical, highly informative, evidence based and easy to integrate into my everyday practice. It is a valuable tool in my 'war chest' and I find an easy way of staying up to date with new information and evidence in the AOD sphere.
